As for the Qur'an, even the pronunciation of the words are unchanged due to the rigorous preservation and strong chain of manual narrations.
Hinduism is not a preserved faith. Whatever exists today of Hinduism may not even be a part of what the initial authentic Hindu faith was.
And many notable Islamic scholars believe that prophets were sent to India as well, it's just that their teachings have been distorted now.
Shaykh Mujaddid Alf-e-saani, Shaykh Abdul Aziz Muhaddis e Dehlwi, Qazi Sanaullah Panipati, Hazrat Thanwi, Hazrat Nanotwi have all written that India had been a land of various prophets.
But Shaitan had later misled & mixed falsehood in the prophetic teachings.
Despite so many distortions, there seems to be some truth still remaining in these scriptures, just like Bibles of Jews & Christians still have a certain amount of truth in them.
The prophecies, stories of prophets, Monotheism, etc in Hindu scriptures hint at a real 'GHAR WAPSI'
Prophet Adam & Hawwa
There are multiple anecdotes in hindu texts that speak of a couple, from whom the whole humanity emerged and that they had eaten a forbidden fruit.
What's interesting is their names in Bhavishya Purana are: 'Aadam' & 'Hawwyavati'
B.Puran:Pratisarg P:1:4
What's even more fascinating is, Bhavishya Puran says Adam had aged for 930 years.
In a hadith, Rasulullah ﷺ said, "age of Adam alayhissalam was 930 years".
Not just Puranas, but Vedas & Ramcharitmanas too have stories of Prophet Adam.
Here he's been addressed as Manu. And that from him human progeny began, which is why human/man is called Manushya.
Just as 'Admi' in Urdu/Farsi comes from Adam.
It can also be noted that the strongest opinion among scholars of Islam is that Adam alayhissalam did descend on the land of Al-Hind i.e India.
Ibn Abbas, Ali, Hasan al-Basri, etc have held this view. (Radhiyallahu anhum ajmaaiyeen).
Further, name of Adam's son said in Bhavishya Purana is ''श्वेत" (Sheeth)
It perfectly suits what Muslims believe. شیت (Sheeth) is a prophet and Adam Alayhissalam's son.
In the same paragraph of Bhavishya Puran, sons of Sheeth are said to be: Nyuh (Nuh/Noah) and to him Kinaash (kina'an) and to him Mahallel (Mahl'ail) & to him Virad (yarid).
The same exact names are found in the lineage map of Prophet Adam.
Convince me this is a co-incidence.
Prophet Nuh (Noah)
He's spelled as Nyuh in puranas. And another form of manu in vedas. There are around 9 Manus, one of which seems to be Prophet Nuh.
Lord tells Nyuh to prepare a huge ark and board it with believing people as there'd be heavy rains & a deadly flood.
Measurements of Noah's Ark
B. Puran: "300 cubits long, 50 cubits wide and 30 cubits high"
In an athar Qatada r.h says: "it (Nuh's ark) was 300 cubits long, 50 cubits wide and 30 cubits high..."
Mind-blowing similarity."Then he & his disciples, along with a pair of every animal in the world, went into the ark. it rained continuously for 40 days. As a result everything came under flood. Nyuh himself started praying to God"
Exact description in both Qur'an & B. Purana.Prophet Isa (Jesus) “once king shaka met a fair skinned holy man, upon asking to introduce, he said, I'm Isa, born off a virgin lady. I'm here to restore the lost dignity of Mleccha region, which is why I'm known as Isa-Maseeh❞ Mind blowing parallel in Quranic aayath.
Final Prophet Muhammad, may peace & blessings be upon him. Now the real game begins. Vedas, Upanishads & puranas are filled with prophecies of a future Prophet/Avatar/Reviver or whatever that they name. These prophecies seem to fit on Rasulullah ﷺ after studying his life.In Atharva ved, 1:20:127, a chain of 14 mantras are written describing the characteristics of a saint 'Narasansha' - नरासंशा The literal meaning of the word is, The Praised one. Which is technically similar to the meaning of the word 'Muhammad' - محمد'
In the first mantra, he is referred to as Kaurama (कौरम) Which means 'Emigrant'. Someone who has left his place and made a migration. Rasulullah ﷺ had indeed Migrated from Makka to Madina city during his life when Mushrikeen of Arab started persecuting him.
Further in the second verse of the same mantra, it's said that this Rishi rides camel. What's interesting is, according to Manu Smriti it is forbidden to ride Camel. Then how come such a revered saint is known to ride camels. What is the possible explanation
Another remarkable prophecy is of, Kalki Avatar in the Hindu texts. This is a future prophecy that such an Avatar is going to be born when evil spreads in the land. But the features of this Kalki Avatar in no way find a fulfillment for any saint/rishi in India.
Kalki puran :2:4 His place of birth will be - Sambhala His Mother - Sumati His father - Vishnuyash Date of birth - 12th of Vaisakha
Certain qualities of Kalki mentioned in Kalki purana are:
- Will be the Final seal
- Will be assisted by Angels
- Will ride camel & carry a sword
- Will ride a horse faster than wind
- Will have 4 special companions
- Will consume Fresh meat
- Will recieve divine revelation
If this is not about Prophet Muhammad, then I politely challenge Hindus to bring a personality whether revered as deity or saint who happens to fulfill these prophecies.
Especially in this age and time, how can a great avatar of God and Master of Brahmins himself, eat meat
Most shocking prophecy in Kalki purana is - when Kalki arrives, he'd stop the idol-worship and destroy the hypocrites who were involved in doing this.
Below are the references both from English & Hindi translations.
Take a wild guess who successfully stopped idol-worship?
In B. Purana there's a story of a king raja bhoj who meets 'Mohammad' (literally this name) and his companions, their specifics are: - they are circumcised (khatna) - they don't have hair tuft (choti) - they're bearded - they call in loud voices (azan) - eat meat - desert people
One interesting thing is, bhavishya purana refers to these people as 'Musalman'. But musalman is not even an arabic word. And it had come into existence only after Islam spread out of arab. But hindus say their scriptures are ancient; then the word 'musalman' is ancient too?
As for monotheism in hindu texts, it'd require altogether a new thread to compile the references. They are in hundreds. And they're in every sacred text, be it vedas, Puranas, Upanishads, Gita. It's now up to Hindus to tell if hinduism is a monotheistic faith or polytheistic.
References regarding oneness of are many, hence I tried to get reference from vedas where negation of multiple gods is mentioned. Because the fundamental pillar of Islam is acceptance of 'THERE IS NO GOD, but Allah'. So Islam first negates the possibility of other gods
Swami Dayanand Saraswati, founder of arya samaj, whom modi reveres so much had actually mentioned more than a dozen shlokas from different texts which emphasis on oneness of god.
Vedas name God as Aum/Om. And he ALONE is the creator and our God.
Sacred texts are filled with negation of Idol worship too. 'gods made out of earth and stones are NOT REAL GODS' -Srimad Bhagvat Purana.
If there's no image of God, no body structure, then how come all of India is filled with millions of god's portraits? Thanks to a painter, Raja ravi verma who actually gave faces to gods. Funny isn't it. A painter drew some faces and one billion people think the face is god's.
Now it's upon Hindus to refute all of this. It's an impossible task. But give it a try. And keep in mind the basics - these books are authority for you, not for us. So anything mentioned in these books can very much be used against you but not against us The Muslims.
As for us, our premise is clear. We don't accept everything mentioned in your books but we do say that there may be some truth in these books based on the assumption that there indeed have been prophets sent to India. Which then implies that their teachings have been corrupted.
Hence, I politely call on my fellow brethren to realise the disrespect that they're doing to their own faith by indulging in polytheism, idol worship and other such sins. Islam is always open to anybody and everybody. It's simple. It's easy and it's the solution. Ghar wapsi!!!
